In January of 2001, a Seattle-area real estate agent met with a mysterious client. Together, they went to view a home in the nearby suburb of Woodinville. Within an hour, the body of this gregarious realtor would be found in the empty home... and this mystery client would never be identified. Years later, an unrelated home invasion seemed to break the case... but was it too late to figure out why Mike Emert was killed?

Bethany deaton

In October of 2012, the body of a young woman was found in a parking lot outside of Kansas City, Missouri. Police initially ruled the death a suicide... until a young man confessed his involvement nearly two weeks later. Details began to emerge about the religious organization that the two had been involved with... and its charismatic leader, who happened to be Bethany's husband.

The Morgan County Three

Between March of 1967 and January of 1970, three women met mysterious, violent ends in the area of Morgan County Alabama. The skeletal remains of Mary Faye Hunter were found in 1967; widowed mother Juanita Acker was shot by an unknown assailant in 1969; and young mother of two Joyce Drake was robbed and murdered in the early days of 1970. Were these women connected or linked in any way?
